Ay, Decameron by Boccacio? You know that back in the 80's that book was on a black list in Ireland, and you couldn't buy it? Then suddenly it wasn't on the list in 1987 and I got a copy very quickly. Have you read Canterbury Tales yet?
Anyhow, talking about reading. Are books controlled in Colombia? Here's a list of books that have been censored, or near censorship in the USA. Yup, Decameron's there, along with some other books I like a lot. The Lion the Witch and the Wardobe is there too, apparently in 1990 someone thought the book depicted "graphic violence, mysticism and gore". I read that book when I was 10 years old, goodness!
Well, have lots of fun with your reading, my friend.

Also the Bible was forbidden for women until the 70's or 80's I think. Thank God I was born in a time it wasn't forbidden anymore. I loved to read the Bible not in the religious sense of the book, but as if they all were stories. That I loved ^^ Plus, my grabdma used to make me read it for her.
I gotta find the time to read al those books *faints* I'll manage, you know me :P

Bible forbidden for women? That's pretty strange. Ah, yes, the stories were interesting. David and Goliath was my favoruite.
Yes, I know you'll read them all. Let's hope the world doesn't take up too much of your time.
Hope what I sent is useful to you.

Nowadays there are bibles everywhere. I wonder what things which are restricted today will be commonplace in the future? Or vice versa.
You've taught cathecism? You really are a true teacher, my friend. That reminds me of Carmen, who was the coordinator of the camp where I worked last month, and representative of the Junta de Castilla La Mancha, and hence my other boss. She teaches at a school in a Spanish village, and she's the only teacher, with kids of all ages, teaching all subjects.
As to the bible stories. I remember when I was 10 years old, Joseph and his amazing technicolour dreamcoat was all the rage. Here's part of the lyrics.
I closed my eyes, drew back the curtain
To see for certain what I thought I knew
Far far away, someone was weeping
But the world was sleeping
Any dream will do.
I sang in the chorus of a school production, and I had to sing ah-oh-ah from time to time. I also had to sing it at family occasions. Such memories.
Glad you found what I sent useful.
