Of reading and writing :P

Just finished reading "The Eyes of the Dragon" by Stephen King.  If everything I've read about him is true, then this is a special book.  He dedicated it to his daughter and it's lovely.  I mean, it does have King's style, the thriller and everything, but it was written in a light tone and it's pretty much a story for youngsters.  Loved it.

Today I'll be reading "Ice Queen" by [profile] diosa_athenea.  I think I'll start reading "Lux Aeterna" by [personal profile] zelha tomorrow.  It's a long story, I'm dying to devour.  That if my limited time allows me to, but well, I can do magic sometimes.

This week I'll be writing for the Hallowen "challenge" (is it a challenge, really?) for the Saint Seiya Eternal forum.  I've already got an idea, hopefully it'll work.  My dearest friend [profile] polluxdioscuros allowed me to be part of it despite the way I write and I'm happy.  I need to think about something different before my Nanowrimo begins.

Speaking of Nanowrimo...I'll start focusing on that on Nov 1st.  If anyone wants to read whatever I write, please let me know; I'll make a filter for it since I don't want my flist's flists  full of my allucinations.  Hence, please, let me know, or else, I won't bother you and will just leave you out of it.

Also, speaking of writing, I've decided to stop my 50 posplash prompts.  There's no motivation to write them, and I've realized that perhaps being a writer in this fandom is too much for me.  I think I just don't fit in "that position" so to speak.  Right now, it's way better to just be a lurker in that sense and enjoy the good popslash writers I've found.  Though I can't wait for the autumchallenge and the sesa in December.  I'm dying to read good stories.  Hopefully someone will pick my fave pairings  :P

I had so many other things to write, but I'd just forgotten them.  Well, I'll write again, when I remember them ^^

I'd love to read what you write for Nanowrimo. I probably won't be able to comment much, but I really want to see how this project goes for you. :)

We'll see what how it actually goes; I'm not very confident on many things lately, but we'll see. Hopefully it'll all be all right.

You don't have comment, I know you're incredibly busy with the Uni and stuff, but if you ever do, know that I'll be forever grateful.

You're added ^^

ZOMG YER GONNA READ MAH STORY!!! *IS DEAD* >______>

I already started with the horror story, although it won't be a horror story per-say, because I want to mindfuck some Kyotos we know. >D

*cackles*

Dead? Why?

I have to start it this week. It's also going to be about the Kyotos :P We'll see how it goes. It's been a while since the last time I wrote anything for a "challenge". We'll see. I suck at writing anything that is not angsts *cries* I'm fucked up, I know *sniff*

I haven't read anything by Stephen King in like 20 years? My first King book was Salem's lot, back in 1979 or so, then someone lent me their copy of The Stand, which took me a whole Summer to get through, just like Lord of the Rings did. I'm a slow reader, aren't I? I remember a film called Reuben, Reuben, and when the main character is told that some speed reader can read such-and-such a book in record time, he responds something like "I wish someone could teach me to read my favourite books slower". I could relate to that.

Sounds like you'll be very busy reading and writing, and that's great.

Looking forward to reading every single word you write. That Halloween challenge sounds like fun. Then Nanowrimo... enjoy that.

Sorry about the popslash fandom thing, but what can I say? I'm totally non-fandom. I'm way too lazy and way too un-cool to belong to one. Plus, I'm way too picky with what I read.

Hope you enjoy some good stuff over there.

Looking forward to reading what you forgot to write.

The book I read wasn't a spooky story as many others written about it and of which I've told about. Of course it was a thriller, but it was so nice, any kid could read it. It's a nice book to read. Now, I want to read more books by him , jejejeje

Fandom...let's not talk about it anymore. I've become very picky with what I read, and that's enough for me right now; though I do want to read some stories written by certain people ^^

Love you, my friend ^^

He's a pretty prolific writer, but I've totally lost touch with his work, and that doesn't look like changing. Hope you enjoy his books.

Yeah, let's not talk about fandom. That's a pretty thankless world, I reckon.

Love you too.

Hopefully, I will.

I'm sorry you've decided to stop writing the pop stuff, do know I for one enjoyed your stories.

However, you have to do what's best for you.

I don't know whether that's a good decision or not, you know? But for now, it makes my heart feel at ease. I've still got a couple of things that I owed and have to write and well, who knows? I might start writing something sometime. I've got ideas, I just ain't got the guts to put them on paper, and I'm not sure I'll ever have them again.

Thank you for your words, really. You've been a great source of inspiration.

*hugs*

If it makes you feel at ease, I think it's the right decision to make. You have to do what makes you happy, and while I'll miss your work, knowing you're feeling better about things is the most important thing.

Writing used to make me happy. I may have made the wrong decisions regarding things related to writing; perhaps I started writing in the fandom when it was too early (barely a week after first being introduce to it) Don't know. Right now, stepping aside makes me feel OK. I still enjoy reading you guys, and well, we'll see what happens later. I need to recover certain amount of confidence on my writing and my English before doing it again. And I also need to step out my safe ground, Spanish...anyways...the bottom line is, I need to enjoy writing again.

Thank you for understanding, really. Thank you for not pitying me or patronising me.
