Hi there! ^_^
I just stumbled upon your beautiful litte piece of writing at [livejournal.com profile] hail_mik and wasn't sure at first where to comment. But as there are already comments here, I thought I'll add my two cents, too.

I loved it. The atmosphere you created, a feeling of calm and tranquility. Providing a basis for healing in more ways than only physically. You know, I can really imagine this scene to happen. There's a lot on Fei's mind lately, first the changes Aki caused in him, resulting in him treating Aki differently, even releasing him. Then NT 13, a confrontation not only with Asami, but also with his self.

The Feilong in your story is a Feilong who managed to cope with his own past and is able to move on... possibly in baby steps - but it's always the small steps that add up to a quantum leap, isn't it?

It's not a love story - yet. ;) But it's a promising beginning. As you wrote in the end: for now, heal. Take care of the rest later. :)

So, I wanted to say thank you, not only for writing this little gem and presenting [livejournal.com profile] char_comet with such a wonderful gift, but to give us fellow fangirls lurking in the shadows the chance to enjoy it also. And I enjoyed it tremendously! :D

Take care! ^__^

You have no idea as to how your words make me feel. When I read some of the comments for the story and some things that were told to me in private, I was surprised to realise that some people have actually missed the whole point with the story. Your comment has just brought back some confidence in the fact that this story might work in the future (I've already promised [livejournal.com profile] char_comet that I was going to continue it.

Thank you so very much for your words ^^

You take care yourself.

Oh I'm pretty sure it will develop nicely. ^_^ Yes, of course, it's quite possible for Feilong to go completely berserk with Misha in canon. And I couldn't even blame him for it. XDD But that's not the whole purpose of fanfiction now, is it? Sticking rigidly to canon... It's - as you already mentioned - about imagining the 'what-ifs'. About making room to give your fancy full scoop and expanding the universe. And your story isn't even far off the canon road.

So, please don't let yourself be discouraged by different opinions, there will always be people who can't share your imagination - or don't want to. It's not your fault. Nor theirs. It's just - incompatible. That doesn't make your story any less worth reading. And I'm happy I could encourage you. ^__^

Considering that 'Healing' is the first VF fanfic I've ever read... and it's not that I dislike fanfiction, quite the opposite, it just never occured to me to start with VF fics. No idea why, though. *shrugs* But your writing style lured me in. The pictures you paint with words are very vivid, you make them come to life. It's like watching a movie. Therefore, if I'm now sucked into the vortex that is VF fanfiction, never to resurface again - it's all your fault! XDDDD

Yay for continuing! *bribes you with Mika-shaped cookies* XD I'll wait patiently for any updates. Take all the time you need for it, I'll stick around to fangirl you. XDD

Toodles! ^__^
