Yaoi or No Yaoi...that's the question.

Well, there's this forum where I've uploaded my non-yaoi fics. Why is that?? Well, I've discovered how sensitive can people be when it comes to things they don't like a.k.a don't understand. Anyway, today I received notification that someone had responded to my post (a post where I've uploaded my non yaoi Spanish drabblers) Imagine my surprise when in the signature of the one who posted I found this:

[info]antiyaoi

I just made me laugh their arguments for not liking yaoi (Which I personally think are completely valid and respectable). I know it would also make me laugh my reasons or other's for liking it. What can I say? I mean, everyone's free to speak as they wish. It's just fun that the people who like yaoi are "attacked" by things like this. I wonder what would the people who do like yaoi say of all this.

Anyway, I like both things. I have no problems with ether of them. I'm just here, sitting while I write this wondering, where's the tolerance to the difference?

XDDDDD
Extreme positions are bad no matter to which point they lead...It's ok if there are people who don't like yaoi,it's ok if there are people who love yaoi...the problem is with people who care that much for yaoi or for non-yaoi , just read that comment at that comm of a guy saying his girlfriend left him 'cos of yaoi!!! that made me go kinda @___@''''..."be it yaoi or me" kinda thing... heck, people are weird sometimes...
I think respect is the crucial word... everyone's is entitled to his/her own tastes as long as doesn't want to impose by force that taste on someone else...dunno...

I was also like that when I read about his girlfriend dumping him and choosing yaoi instead, he must feel so miserable that I sorta understand him...poor thing.

Yes, respect is the crucial word...which is so hard for me to see there...I haven't read anything yet by any yaoi fangirls against nonyaoi people...so far, I wouldn't be stranged to see it sometime soon. I guess some people might hacve said something already, again, where's the tolerance to difference?
