And freedom for another one
Feb. 5th, 2009 05:01 pmThis guy...Sigifredo López, was kidnapped about seven years ago. He and his deputee friends were taken away, and the other 11 were killed. Sigifredo wasn't because he'd been "punished" and taken away from the rest of the group. Now, he's free. I can only imagine what that's been like, and I know I'll never get the real feeling.
I'm glad for the people who've been freed in the past week. It's such a relief and watching the images on TV has been such a roller coaster...but I'm happy for them. Again, I just hope the ones who are still our there, without their freedom; can come back to their homes soon.
And journalist keep asking him stupid questions. Good thing? he just stopped them and told them to respect the fact that he didn't want to be remembered of his friend and their deaths for he was still mourning.
Out of all the people who've been rescued/freed in the past year or so, he just became my favourite one.
Bienvenido a casa, Doctor López.
