On a questioning note...it took the manga like 40 chapters to get to where the anime is. Is it gonna get fillers like Saint Seiya did with the Asgardian Saga or like Bleach with the Bountos and the new Third Squad Captain whose name I can't remember right now?

Oct. 20th, 2008 10:21 amMy friend Lui and his wife Lina who live in Miami have been receiving the latest mangas I've bought and they sent them last Friday. I got them today, and well...that was a wonderful surprise.
So, I got today:
I'll upload pics later. I'm just happy I've got great stories to read, plus my manga collection is growing. Can't wait for December to be in US and buy more! (plus, I'm chaning my laptop Milo Iwaki a.k.a Bicho (Bugsy) I'll be having a Bugsy II)
And I also got this, though is not manga; the sketch of an image of Selek, a character I created for Athena's Saints (A story of mine which will be re-written starting in December)

lady_hook is drawing it for me.
It makes me feel really excited because although I know Shaina has drawn a bit of Eyes, and thatmilosflaca has shown me the drawing for the MiloxShainax Aioria threesome I wrote for her, there's nothing like having an OC of yours become alive through drawing. This is a wonderful thing for me to have seen today, plus, it makes me want to hurry to start working on the story, but I've decided to take one step at the time, and my plans for October and November are different.
So, I got today:

- Crimson Spell 1 and 2 by Ayano Yamane (though I have the very first edition with Vald's name mispelled as Bald)
- The Prime Minister's Secret Diplomacy by Youka Nitta
- A Foreign Love Affair by Ayano Yamane
- Loveless 7 by Yun Kouga
- Bleach 2, 3 and 5 by Kubo Tite
- Vampire Knight 4 by Matsuri Hino

Jul. 20th, 2008 10:38 pmSo...I'm exhausted, but all in all, it wasn't that bad of a weekend. I went to see Batman on Friday and I have to admit it wasn't what I was expecting, though I won't give any spoilers away.
I'm just going to look for some Avatar, which should be up there somewhere already, I'm going to keep on complaining of the VK fandom and I'm going to go and sleep with Bleach and Saint Seiya.
Btw, Hollowfied Ichigo and Byakuya are now part of my repertoire of figurines!! And there's a new Loveless chapter!! YAY!!!!

Jul. 2nd, 2008 08:06 pmI have LOVED Vampire Knight since the first time I read it a few years ago. SO much, that I've tried to get the manga and well, I've patiently and religiously followed every chapter for the past almost three months. I just watched the last episode of this season and OMFG!!!
Zero is perfect. Kaname is perfect. (Not to mention Chairman Cross...for whom I'm starting to develop some obsession these days)
What can I say about the episode without my jaw droping and an unstoppable flood of drool coming out of my mouth?
Just one thing: MY YAOI MODE WAS DEFINITELY TURNED ON!!!!! YAY!!!!

WOW!!!!!
The art is gorgeous; I loved the vampires, and Zero...he's so perfect. Kaname is just from another world. Ichijou, Kain, Aidou, Shiki and Ruka look absolutely beautiful.
And Chairman Cross is the love.
Yuuki is beautiful, too.
I'm happy with the result, and can't wait to see more.
As for yaoi, sorry; they've fed my lust, when Aidou is complaining about Zero and Ruka tells him "It's like you're in love with him" XD Sorry...wasn't expecting this :P
