My friend Lui and his wife Lina who live in Miami have been receiving the latest mangas I've bought and they sent them last Friday. I got them today, and well...that was a wonderful surprise.

So, I got today:

• Pathos I by Mika Sadahiro
• Crimson Spell 1 and 2 by Ayano Yamane (though I have the very first edition with Vald's name mispelled as Bald)
• The Prime Minister's Secret Diplomacy by Youka Nitta
• A Foreign Love Affair by Ayano Yamane
• Loveless 7 by Yun Kouga
• Bleach 2, 3 and 5 by Kubo Tite
• Vampire Knight 4 by Matsuri Hino

I'll upload pics later. I'm just happy I've got great stories to read, plus my manga collection is growing. Can't wait for December to be in US and buy more! (plus, I'm chaning my laptop Milo Iwaki a.k.a Bicho (Bugsy) I'll be having a Bugsy II)


And I also got this, though is not manga; the sketch of an image of Selek, a character I created for Athena's Saints (A story of mine which will be re-written starting in December)

It makes me feel really excited because although I know Shaina has drawn a bit of Eyes, and that milosflaca  has shown me the drawing for the MiloxShainax Aioria threesome I wrote for her, there's nothing like having an OC of yours become alive through drawing.  This is a wonderful thing for me to have seen today, plus, it makes me want to hurry to start working on the story, but I've decided to take one step at the time, and my plans for October and November are different.

hahaha, I have the "Bald" one, too! It's so funny. And don't they call Havi "Habi" in one of them, too? I wonder what the heck they actually say in Japanese.

Shoot, Vampire Knight is published by Viz, right? rightstuf is having a viz sale right now, damn it... I so have no money, but WE WANTS IT, PRECIOUS...! O_o

I tried but couldn't help myself and ended up buying the new edition of Vol 1, jejejeje They not only screwed up with his name, but also the edges were extra cut, so...this new volume's got it all fixed *.*

Yeah, VK is published by Viz. Rightstuff is have a viz sale? wow...too bad I've never had any luck with rightstuff. I tried it when Amazon got lost my Viewfinder 3 book *raises fist) and tried to get it through rightstuff and it just didn't work out...*cries*

rightstuf is actually really good; my sempai says they are the best in the business, and he started his anime club in 1993. They only just started having yaoi, so it's taking them awhile to get better with that. It started out as a fanboy company and has only recently branched out.

You kind of have to excuse them for Viewfinder, because it was the publisher's fault on that one. I had ordered vol 2 and 3 as well, and I actually called them about it, because I was surprised to see it even listed as available for ordering. I thought maybe they would be able to dig up a copy out of a warehouse or something, but alas. I'm glad I at least have vol 1 in English. They sell for so much on ebay...!

But yeah, it's worth giving rightstuf another try, even just for more mainstream stuff like Vampire Knight and Loveless. If you join their club and wait for the sales, you can get manga for like 6 bucks a volume. IMHO it's totally worth it.

As for yaoi, well, I take what I can get wherever I can get it. Yaoi-con was a gold mine - I got all of Yellow for 30 bucks, and then I saw someone else selling it for $5/volume...! Wicked cheap stuff. I'm definitely saving up and coming with a list next year.
