Happy news is, again, Bicho is back. I'm thrilled, I'm happy, can't wait to use it, but I haven't been able to. I've been organizing so much information and stuff, I haven't used it for my own pelasure...yet. I did watch a movie on it last Saturday, "FMA, The Conqueror of Shambala" and loved it. Many other things await me, mangas, more anime, and well, I can't wait.

I've been writing. Can you believe it, dear lj? I can't XDDD but well, I'm uber happy b/c of that. I still have lots handwritten and God's willing, I'll be typing and getting them into Labrys soon. Hubby is very happy because he's seen me writing and talking about stories. He was like "that's what I gave you Bicho for" *.* Yup, love him!!!!!!!and Bicho too

I'm exhausted. Guilty at charge. Got 10 more cms in my waist, which causes my clothes not to fit me anymre, I'm on a diet already. Nops, I don't care about my looks, my I do care about my clothing not fitting, since even when I go to buy some, they simply DON'T fit. How do I know? well, I went yesterday to buy some pants and well, got a problem, for no size fit me!! ¬¬

Tonight, I got permission to leave Colombo early and go to a conference about "Queer Literature" Couldn't be any funnier or more boring. The guy, an American, came to talk about Colombian Literature. Homosexual Literature. So far, so good. Really. Problem is, he read everything!! READ IT!!!! Couldn't he just talk about all that and well, go to his notes to quote and stuff? Anyways, got good info and I'll be reading soon, for I got interested (yups, more)

Medellin is currently going through its "Feria de las Flores" (Flower Festival/Fair/Blah) this is like the most special time of the year and everyone is having fun, but me. Vamp is going to the storytellers' presentations while I'm stuck at work ¬¬ We'll go to the "Fondas" (places in my homeland where you go to drink and talk, there's a nice re-enactment of them in the city and people go there to have some fun. We'll be taking pictures and a few videos, so I might post some of those later. We'll also have our "Desfile de Silleteros" but of that, I'll talk later.

On Monday, our president is "re-installed" in its position, for he's been re-elected.

God...I want to sleep for a whole month XDDDDDD

For those of you I haven't either seen/talked on msn/responded to on LJ entries/etc; please forgive me. These past days have been hectic and I haven't had the time nor the chance to be around. I do wish you well, anyways, and I'll keep you in my thoughts.

So glad you got your Bicho with you again. You waited a long time for him, but it was worth the wait, wasn’t it? I’m sure you and Bicho are going to do a lot of fun stuff together.

It’s great that you’re writing again. I’ve missed reading new stuff of yours. Thanks for showing me the snippet the other day. I really enjoyed reading that. So looking forward to more.

Look after yourself, Marge, get enough rest, and enough exercise, and you’ll be back in shape in no time. Who am I to give advice? I’m a sedentary vegetarian who hasn’t done a decent work-out since 1998. And about shopping for clothes. Nothing fits anyone, really, I think. There’s a fashion mafia out there involved in a world-wide conspiracy to keep our minds off important things, and to keep us thinking about how to fit into impossible clothes.

Glad you got permission to go to the conference. I can’t believe the speaker was reading everything, though. How dull. A good speaker would do just as you say, glance at notes from time to time, and give the impression of speaking to the audience, not reciting. Glad you enjoyed it all the same, and that soon you’ll be delving into new reading material. Enjoy!

Oh, it’s that time again in the City of Flowers? That’s wonderful. Have fun at the parades, and at the Fonda with your family and friends. By the way, here in Spain, a Fonda is a café bar with rooms where people can stay a night. Kind of cheap hotel.

So looking forward to hear how the feria goes for you, and to seeing the pics.

Do you get a day off on Monday? Maybe that’s too much to ask? I really hope that things keep getting better and better for your country, my friend. I’ve been doing some reading. El Pais recently ran a series of articles about Colombia, and things seem to be on the up and up.
