Seven New Wonders

A few months ago, some people at our forum in Runya, showed me this link to see and vote for the 7 New Wonders of the World.  Of course, I went and voted and suscribed to their newsletter and today I received an issue from it where they show the top 21 finalists.

Go and check it out, they are real wonders and it's so hard to choose *sobs*

And the Acropolis is not one of the top 7 *buahhhh*  I know the labyrinth at Knossos wouldn't make it, but oh well...I better get back and vote again, hehehehe.

And you, flist, go and vote.  The 7 new wonders will be revealed on July 7-07 ^^

Ya' know, I reaaaaaaally think The Acropolis should go instead of Machu Pichu. And the moais from Easter island shouldn't be moved! -Chile ruuulez!

And I've never heard about Petra, it looks pvery beautiful as well... Hm... Which ones you voted for?

I think I voted for Machu Pichu (I've been there and loved it), La Alhambra, Stone Hedge and of course The Acropolis. I can't rembember the rest ^^U

I've made a few friends from here vote, all for Eastern Island! x) Of course, I loved all the wonders, it was such a hard choice to make.

With my own eyes, I've seen the Alhambra and the Eiffel Tower, but I'd vote for the Alhambra, it truly is a wonder of the world. I spent a morning there, long ago, and I marvelled at the beauty of the place.

Those other places... you've been to Machu Picchu... and my vote goes to that amazing ghost-city. Someone I knew practically flew from Buenos Aires to Machu Picchu and told me of problems of adaptation to the altitude.

I think that you have to take into account the conditions. It's not the same building a pyramid at sea level or at several thousand metres of altitude.

For me the Incas rule. My vote's for Machu Picchu. Sorry Acropolis.
