Enough is enough!
May. 7th, 2007 10:09 amI need to f****** sleep!!!!!! I can't go on like this...I'll get cranky for good!
Dear God, please let me get some sleep soon...pretty please *puppy eyes*
I'm at work, and I'm so damn sleepy, and I had a horrible Sunday 'coz I haven't been able to sleep properly *sigh* Vamp tells me I'm the vampire and not him...funny, I could sleep on Saturday afternoon. Couldn't sleep last night either.
No, it's not stress. Why would I be stressed about?
But I really, really need to get some sleep. I'm tired of being in such a constant bad mood all the time and of having this horrible never-ending headache.

Date: 2007-05-07 03:35 pm (UTC)I may have recommended these before, and I'm sure you've heard them already, but here are a few things that may help you fall asleep and stay asleep:
- Start a set routine for "going to bed", plan to have a break between work/stressful stuff and bedtime.
- Once in bed, no reading, tv... whatever. Actually, if you reserve your bedroom only for bedroom activities *wink* that'd be best!
- Drink/eat something with dairy before going to bed. Something hot would also be good.
- Try deep breathing
- Put some lavender near your bed, or spray lavender-scented stuff (not too much!) on your pillow
- To fall asleep when in bed:
(a) Do the 1,2,3,4,5: once you are ready to fall asleep in bed, list: 1 thing you see, hear, feel (as in the blanket over my body, or my left knee against my right... something like that). Then do 2,3,4 and 5. It works!
(b) The "happy place technique": now think back to a place/time when you felt really happy, protected and at peace. Imagine everything in detail: sounds, smells, colors...just as detailed as you can!
Remember it again when you're in bed ready to fall asleep. [i never managed to get through with this one, my mind always wandered off...)
Can't think of anything else right off the bat, but i'll repost if any of the tips i was ever given comes to mind

Date: 2007-05-07 10:00 pm (UTC)I don't have any tips for going to sleep, but I know a good one for waking up. Can you imagine that?
Hope whatever it is that's keeping you awake at night sorts itself out.
