Yeah, don't have much to do today, I'm not in the mood for a couple of things I wanted to do, so I sat and started scanning my mangas covers. Boring, I know. I just needed something to do besides housework. (yeah, I'm a housewife when I'm not at work).

One of my pleasures in life is reading Japanese manga. I've even bought a few series. Most of them are yaoi (or slash as you prefer to called them, since for me it refers to the same thing, male x male relationships).

OK, on the licensed mangas I own (not scanlated, the actual books)

In the world of Japanese yaoi, I'm in love with three mangakas: Youka Nitta, Yamane Ayano and Hirotaka Kisaragi. In the world of non yaoi manga, I definitely love Saint Seiya, Trinity Blood and Vampire Knight. The two latter mangas will be with me next week.

So, onto my mangas:

I started buying the English version of the Saint Seiya manga. They changed some names and even the story starts changing at some point, so I stopped buying it.

These are the Saint Seiya mangas my dear friends didio  and muinteor  are sending me from Spain. It's in Spanish, but it's my series, the ones I fell in love with and they haven't changed anything, which is great.

I started collecting this one, but they couldn't bring it anymore at the manga shop.  I tried, beleieve me, I even contacted an Argentinian manga shop, but they still don't answer...*sigh* It'll be mine soon, though.

Nitta's mangas are more emotional, and more from the heart than the others. I mean, in every relationship she describes, there's true love and you can feel every thing the characters go through. Haru wo Daiteita (Embracing Love) is my most favourite manga; however, Boku no Koe (Sound of My Voice) has a very special place in my heart as well.

I'm waiting for the second volume to be released. In the mid-time, we're working on it at Love & Voice, making the scanlation *grin*

I'm currently waiting for another manga of hers to arrive ^^ "Casino Lilly" Pics when I have it with me.

Youka NItta also had a compilations of her Haru drawings in an artbook called "Kiss of Fire" which is mine already, ^___^

The thing about Yamane Ayano, is that the woman can make you really feel the pain her characters fo through. Ayano is an expert on writing gangsters and tough stuff like that. The Viewfinder series are just WOW and after you start reading, you just don't want to stop.

Volume 3 is on its way ^^

And well, Hirotaka Kisaragi is one of those mangakas that catches you with only her drawings. This story Innocent Bird is WOW. It deals with an angel and a demon and the end of the world. Surprising ending and God, it's just wonderful.

Bueno, aunque hay algunos mangas de los que tienes que definitivamente no leería, he de decirte, al respecto de los de Saint Seiya que tengo los mangas de Saint Seiya en español por la editorial mexicana que los publicó.

Los 28 flamantes tomos, fascinante...

Sobre el Episodio G, tengo la edición argentina de los tomos 1-12, y recién ha llegado un amigo de aquellas tierras de donde me mandaron los tomos 13-21 (el último publicado por allá).

¡Pensé que viviendo en Sudamérica podría ser más fácil conseguirlos! ¿No puedes contactar a IVREA o alguna tienda de allá que te los pudiera mandar?

Créme que me preocuparía si te diera por leer de entre mis mangas lo que no fuera Saint Seiya XD

He estado tratando con una librería argentina, pero nada que me responden. Volveré a contactarlos esta semana; aunque ya desde España me habían dicho que había la posibilidad de conseguirlos ^^

Los otros tomos de StS están esperando juiciosos para ser enviados YAY!!!!

Bueno, de lo que tengo yo (5 tomos de Glénat, encontrados por pura casualidad XD) no es mucho porque mi loot es más que todo pura versión digital, hahaha XD

Aunque sí tengo que admitir que me da cochina envidia que tengas todos los tomos de StS... :3

No mi vida, si fuera por lo que consiguiera aquì en Colombia, jamás conseguiría la serie XD

Sí eso escuché, aunque más de uno está pegando rabietas por eso, jejejeje, pero bueno, en tanto tenga a mi bicho y compañía, no me importa mucho.

No sí te entendí, pero ya supe de gente que no les gustaba mucho la idea de que fuera él quien lo animara. A mi en realidad no me interesa mucho eso, toei se ha tirado tanto en la serie, que me parece un milagro que la sigan sacando, lo cual es más que indignante. Es la mejor serie que tienen, por un carajo! *respira*

porque dices que la version norteamericana esta cambiada en la historia? si es verdad, tienen algunos nombres cambiados, pero la historia no la pueden alterar ari, por contrato.
te lo digo porque por mucho tiempo estuve trabajando adaptando mangas y se como se manejan las lisencias.

De todas maneras no me gustó mucho la versión en inglés.
