"Do you like it here?" Siegfried asked with a hint of curiosity in his voice. It was still a wonder for him, for everyone, to discover that at the end both the Valhalla and Elysium were the same heaven. There, he’d met with the Saints of Athena who’d fallen before they did, and new friendships and bonds were born. One of them with the one everyone consider a traitor. Aphrodite, he’d said that was his name when they met many days, perhaps months ago, time wasn’t a concern anymore.

After asking him what he did, Siegfried dared not look at the man next to him and he couldn’t help but wonder why. They were friends, so what was about that so suddenly born shyness of him.

“Do you?” Dite answered back,not letting Dubhe a moment to continue lost in his thoughts, being him the one who turned to stare at the man with the ash-like hair and the bluest eyes he’d ever seen. Siegfried nodded. It was nice and pleasant there; still, it made him question himself and more than that, their friendship. The rose hadn’t stopped growing. It was still connecting them, telling secrets to each other. A wonderful gift Dite had given him. Something Siegfried could quite understand yet, but which marveled him, and moved him deeply.

The Saint of Athena smiled, yet when he was about to say something, Siegfried interrupted him. “Do you think Athena would allow me to be her saint in our next life?” he asked.

“And why would you do that, Odin’s Warrior?” Dite retorted amused.

“You.” Then Siegfried stood up, the flower wrapped around his arm and whispering in his ear the answer he wanted to hear. He offered Dite his hand and helped him up. It was time for another agreeable chat between them.
