Of Dragons...and well...me

Well, I was born in 1976, year of the Dragon according to the Chinese tradition.  I was watching a program in Animal Planet today, where they showed the Chinese Zodiac (not horoscope) and they mentioned the animals and their "real" representatives.   Anyhow, I was intrigued by what they said about the Dragon so I decided to look for some info about it....here it is.

Last year at anime expo in California they were selling those lovely Furuba Kyo hats/caps.
I'm sure they exist for sale out of the convention too, but there tons of people were wearing them on same time, it was really cool. ^_^/
I don't really know well Furuba or anything, but I couldn't resist buying a cat hat like that. *lol* ;D

I have several ones from different anime series, as well as add-on fake fur cat-ears that look pretty cute too. ^_^/ (although not the easiest piece of clothing to wear around normally. *LOL* I only wore it once for a convention. ^_^)

Ahh... so you really get into character! Interesting...^^ I go to conventions every once in a while. But it's not the cosplayers that scare me... it's the fans grabbing the said cosplayers!

It's because I don't often go to conventions, and I usually dress up pretty "normally", so once in a while when I go to a convention, I feel like I'd be missing the occasion if I didn't cosplay or at least dress up in an anime way. ^_^/ So for that one convention, I was as japanese schoolgirl-catgirl. ^^ *lol* Complete with real loose socks. ^_^

I guess it's because I still look young enough. When I'm much older I think I'll cosplay as something else. ^^; (I wouldn't like to dress up as a schoogirl if I looked over 30 or 40!!*LOL*)

I really want to cosplay as Saga, but I'm lazy/lacking time to biuld the armor. ;D

Once I saw a guy dressed as Vash from Trigun. Identical! So funny to see the fangirls chasing him!

True, I have never yet seen a good cosplayer of him. ;_;

The cat years I bought were hand made, so it's always possible to build them if you don't find a place that sells cat hats. :D
