What can I say...I asked the question, so now I have to put this thingy here myself.  If anyone wants to ask, feel free.

hehehehee

Ask me one question - any one - about my writing, then post this in your LJ so I can satisfy my curiosity about yours...

Hm... how do you find the inspiration for your writings? Do you look for it? Or does it strike you all of a sudden?

I don't look for inspiration, it comes to me. It can be triggered by anything, a sentence, an image, a comment by someone. It can also happen in any place. Even when I'm class and my students are working on something, I go and write whatever crosses my mind.

It happens to me too. Especially when I'm the middle of a studying session. :S

Okay, here's my question... Let's see... it's tricky...

Do you share your characters' feelings when you write about the emotions they feel?

I mean do the sensations of regret, hope, fear, hate, love, or whatever it is the characters are feeling at the time affect the way you write?

I mean... do you write from the heart, putting yourself in there mong the characters, or do you write from a more distanced and maybe intellectually detatched position?

Sometimes.

I guess that's the answer. I mean, when I'm writing about their feelings, which is almost always, I'm all the time thinking about how I would feel or what I would do in a situation like those I make my characters go through. Other times I think about how I've felt or am feeling at he moment.

Yes, I write from my heart. I know no other way to do it.

Ok, question: When you're given a theme and you've got to develop it, do you plan it through first or you just write and hope for the best?

Well, I always write a sentence at first. Or at least I say it in my head. No matter the theme, I always have a first sentence that helps me go through the whole thing. Even if I don't have anything planned at first, my mind is already working and begins plotting the idea. I know how i will begin and how I will end, I never know the in between (and here's where I have fun)

I never write hoping for the best. My brain and my guts always tell me what road to take. ^^
