Bleach 326 & Lost Canvas
Sep. 19th, 2008 10:02 amBleach:
I still don't get what could've happened to Madamare. Unless Kubo wants him to bankai and showed it to everybody, I can't fathom what's going on there. This, I think, it's the first time I've ever seen a "weak Ikkaku" which is weird. srsly,.
Now, Komamura!!! WOW. That's was a twist I wasn't expecting. Big wolfie Captain fighting? About time damn it! My guess is, Kubo wants to give each character their moment to shine. My opinion? GO KUBO, GO!!!
Lost Canvas
I have been following this story despite the fact that most of the people I know, aren't. And I say despite, because I pretty much can't comment it with anyone, but I guess it's about time I do.
I love the drawing style. I know s*** of drawing and stuff, but this style is one that's moved me. It's way mopre better than Kurumada's and the plot line as it's developing is great.
I now have still one Saint missing: Leo. All the others have been incredible and Taurus made me cry when he died. Albafica is like WOW. The guy alone killed a spectre (Minos!) Harukai is awesome and he being the Pope's twin, and Cancer's saint, even managed to surprise me when he was also Shion's master.- And he defeated Hypnos! The guys was really something. WOW and re WOW. Asmita was great too. This one was blind! no wonder Shaka doesn't want to see when he's born again :P What can I say about Dokho and Shion, young, reckless, but well, now I get why they've ended up being so freaking powerful. Cancer's Manigoldo and Capricorn Cid had something about them, the first's "madness" (the guys is a freak...the kind I like) and the second's honour, were incredibly portrayed. Gemini Deuterus, I've only seen him half naked and training Tenma, but the guy 's got some power and is the one who hasn't been to Santuary yet, can't wait to see more of him. Sisifus...he's so Aioros! I like him too. Now, the two I'm interested in now: Aquarius Dègel & Scorpio Kardia.
LC 100 & 101
This Aquarius, Dègel has surprised me with his calmness. Sorry, I don't get the idea of he being cold as I get it with Camus. He loves to read *.* and so far, he's been keeping up with Scorpio's loud way and being. Somehow he reminded me of Hyoga. Don't ask me way, he just did. Anyways, thanks to him, this Lost Canvas story got connected to the Blue Warrios, which is part of the series of kinda disconneted StS movies that were made. I like that, though Unity (I think this is his name in the temporary translation on the internet), the one who receives them in Blue Gaard is very similar to Hilda. Maybe they're related? (or maybe I have now more ideas to go back to my StS stories?).
Kardia is like I thought he was going to be. In LC, they've shown the gold saints I'd've loved to see in the series. Sorry, but they're kinda weak when the Bronzies come to santuary. This one is a sadistic bastard who was making Frog Zero suffer!!! And was enjoying it!!! It felt so great when I read it, hehehehe He's got a sharp tongue and is constantly "fighting" with Aquarius, jejejeje. Not fighting like in "Here's my scarlet needle" but he's always provoking him and as Icy put it, you kinda see Dègel suffering from embarrasment (especially when they meet Unity). Now, Kardia used Scorpio's mask!!!! _O_ LOVE HIM!!!!
so...I can't wait to see the translation of chapter 101.
I need Lost Canvas fanart....XD
Edit:
It's no secret for nobody, how much I love StS's scorpions, and the ones who know me and my writing, know that I have a thing for meaningful names and that I try to give that to my own characters. So I had the idea this morning of finding the meaning of "Kardia" and found it. Like it. Like it very freaking much:
1.
Origin: Spanish
Meaning: Giving
Form of: Cardia
2. FromLeading Biblically: In addition, kardia can mean the heart where blood is pumped. I presume that Jesus was not referring to the physical organ, the heart, but to the other elements of the broad definition of kardia, since the other Beatitudes are more about attitude, belief and behavior. |

And Manigoldo is just pure sexness!! XDD gah, him and Kardia just makes one turn into sadism... And well, fighting against Veronika (?) they were flirting while fighting and I was like, uh? Aphrodite? that man(woman?) looks just like Aphrodite!! and manigoldo remarks that beautiful people only gives one problems.. Gah!! *.*

Date: 2008-10-01 04:33 pm (UTC)I have to agree with you that TLC's drawing is much better than Kurumada's original ones, but hey, if the characterization is Kurumada's, that means he's absolutely wonderful to be able to make up this whole gaiden saga.
And Kardia-Degel is just so, so, so much love. I'm happy Asmita appears again, but Kardia-Degel's interaction makes it even better. Yay for them!

Date: 2008-10-01 04:48 pm (UTC)I love TLC. I think that out of all the sagas, this is the one that's got more work and thought and planning, which I personally think the otehrs could use.
I've been quite pleased with the old Saints. It's actually helped me finish the ideas I had for a story of mine, and I tell you, I can't wait to see the others. (Plus, I'm dying to see Aiacos *.*)
Thanks for commenting! it's so refreshing to talk to new people about Saint Seiya ^^

Date: 2008-10-06 10:51 pm (UTC)The story I was telling you about begins here (http://thelabrys.com/english/writings/saintseiya/athena_saints/saints_camus.html). I started it like 4 years ago when I had more than one doubt about my English and other stuff, but it's about time I re-write what needs to be redone and I work on it. If you read it, I hope you enjoy it.
