And though at first it bothered me a bit that Hisagi and Kira arrived to rescue them (I really wanted the girls to kick some more ass), I stopped caring when i realized that it's just comrades in arms protecting each other, which I love and Bleach does so well. <3
I've read comments from people complaining about Hisagi and Kira; but the truth is I didn't see it as something anti-feminine. They didn't look down at them, but hey, let's freaking face it, THEY NEED HELP!
Momo is a kidou goddess!! but she's not that string when it comes to combat; Rangiku...they torn her into pieces! Even Momo describes how much they took from her!
Yeah, I think Kubo handles all those things so nicely *.* I just hope they can kick the kimera's ass.
Thanks for the link! What an excellent article. I found new ways to appreciate the chapter. The "four who were betrayed" thing? SO obvious I can't believe I didn't see it, and really makes that scene all the more powerful. Gah, now I'm dying for next week's chapter!
