Earthquake in Chile
Feb. 27th, 2010 10:06 amMy thoughts and prayers are now with the people in Chile. It was an 8.8 earthquake and the images in the news are devastating.
Now, to my Chilean friends, please let us know how you're doing, please. Do it as soon as you can and let us know how we can help.
*hugs*

Aquí nos pasaron los noticieros de allí, para que supiésemos de primera mano. Que angustia, joder, y lo peor es no poder hacer nada.

Date: 2010-02-28 12:27 am (UTC)Even if at first I was quite shaken and later I couldn't sleep much thanks to the aftershocks, now I'm just glad to be hearing from people I know that they're all fine. We were without electricity from the moment the quake struck and during the day we didn't have water either. Everything was restored like an hour ago, so just now I'm catching up with the news and hearing about the rest of the country.
I'll try to write a bit more on my LJ. Thank you so much for worrying. *hugs tight*
