Thanks to pensnest and popsoundboard I'm falling back in love with popslash. Not that I'd ever fall out of love with it. I've just... been... too away from it.

I'm following Pen's daily meme and I'm enjoying it SO much.  I've been happy and smiling like crazy all morning. People at the school are staring at me and they're like "Why are you so happy about?"  I just can smile. It's been such a long time since I last smiled like this :D

Also, just for the record; I commited to write a small piece for the Awesome August thingy at the aforementioned community. Here's what I wrote.

Even when I'm crappy about it, I'm a happy poplasher today.  And it's not even noon.

I'm so glad it's working! I think fandoms need a little watering to keep them healthy and producing fruit, like particularly exotic tomato plants. If we're enjoying being reminded of good fics we used to love, and getting nice new ones like little presents, the world is improved.
