ariadnemI know Joe has tried to lift me up, he believes in me in such a way that it amazed me more and more everyday. Aury has also told me very nice things, she even calls me "a great writer" I hope she might forgive me one of these days for not believing so. I hope Joe forgives me too.
It's simply...too good to be truth.
I've been writing for how long? a year and so? I know, I know; that's not big deal, it's crystal clear, but to me it's like I want to feel comfortable w/ what I'm doing. Not healthy though...the problem is, patience is not a virtue regarding myself. I can be Job if other people want me to, but I can't be it with myself.
I simply can't.
Yesterday, someone told me, "you're not the best, and you got to keep on learning" I was like "duh, I know that" I've always said that, I want to learn; that's all. I'm not a writer, but I'm a damn fine reader, and I expect to see some things in a reading that I'll enjoy, maybe that's the catch with me, I'm expecting what I can't give, or as Joe has told me, I just have to keep doing it, and don't give up.
Don't worry mo cara, I won't give up. Ever.
I wish the next time Aury calls me "a great writer" I can say, "you're right, I am" (well, modesty is not a trait of us scorpions, right? as Patricia says, God made us perfect XD)
Another thing is my site; I'm about to give it up...I don't see a point for it, we'll see. I think I feel like that, because although I tried it; I couldn't do it by the deadline I'd put. *sigh* It's ok, though. Got to learn to pace things...one of these days.
I made my first sketch of one of my angels. I made "Fegkari, Mistress of the Spirit and Zeus' Angel" from one of my fics. I find it beautiful, anyway, I don't draw, so it's nice to see it, hehehehehe. We'll see how they all end up being like, I still need to make Elektor, Tyligo, Nero, Gi, Elafos and Skia. Hehehehe. It was so funny, me, sitting on my couch trying to do it. Btw, thanks Aurea for offering to draw them. I hope you find the sketches (when I actually finish them) good enough ^^.
I better go now...getting too long in here.
