So fed up with LJ

It's that time of the year when I'm supposed to pay for my paid time on LJ, however, I'm so tired of everything LJ has done for the past years that I decided not to renew it. I can't believe they're so narrow-minded that they have to wait for people to tell them what's wrong and still not listen.

I'm not closing my account, because it still keeps me in touch with people and friends and communities and stuff, but I'm not gonna keep on paying for a service that should be a lot better. I know I'm gonna miss my space in the scrapbook and the extra icons, but enough is enough.

We'll see if I change my mind in the future, although I seriously doubted.

I've been thinking of my DW as my primary journal for quite a while now. It's easier to post, simple to crosspost to my LJ, and I like my Reading list. I still read my LJ friends list, because although there are duplicates there are also people I don't see over here (*sniff*), and some communities I enjoy. But yes. If I didn't have a permanent account, I might go to a free LJ. I like it here.

I'm starting to enjoy it here lately, and I'm seriously considering making this my primary journal, and I'm sure that's what's going to end up happening.
