What can I say about these past days. Haven't felt as well as I'd like to.
I don't know, but this Kitten thing, he being in the hospital and not being awake yet has got me sort of numb. We've gone through this already, yes, but...it's hard to go through it. I can only think on his wife and best friend who are with him. I'm way too far from them -half continent, actually-I wish I could be with them, giving them my support.
The only thing I can do is send them my best wishes. And pray.
The feeling of being useless is awful, but I also have to be realistic. *sigh*
I just opened a new community. It's not related to Saint Seiya. It's jut a place for putting info on Writing.
writerworkshop I have no idea what'll come out of it, but I want to have there things like techniques, quotes, advice for writers and stuff like that. I consider myself too lame when I write, but I want to learn, so anything I find, I'll get it there. We'll see...
There's no excitement on what I'm writing here today. I'm sad, didn't think it was going to be a day like this, but, anyhow...hopefully Kitten will be awake soon...today, I pray.
*big sigh*

Date: 2005-08-03 04:00 pm (UTC)By the way I'm reading "Escorpio" right now, I'm up to chapter 4, and I wanted to say that I'm really enjoying reading it. ^^ The more I read your fics the more I like that "poetic" feeling your narration has. It has a very special way of flowing.

Date: 2005-08-03 08:25 pm (UTC)About "Escorpio" Thank you so much for taling your time to read it. It's a piece I'm truly proud of and I personally think highly of it. As usual with me, Jabu + Milo is a unusual pairing, but well, I love challenges and that story has made me really happy.

From my heart, thanks for these words. They mean a lot to me and I'll cherished them for the times to come. ^^

Date: 2005-08-03 09:47 pm (UTC)I finished reading "Escorpio" a few hours ago and let me tell you it's a piece that you HAVE to feel proud of as it was simply wonderful. Milo and Jabu's personalities shine so brightly through the whole story, their temperament being a big part of the charm of the story. I have to say I liked Jabu, quite a lot actually, for the first time. Tomaste las cosas que lo caracterizan y que, mientras que en la serie me molestaban, aca lo hacen interesante, humano. Eso fue realmente bueno.
I also loved the way emotions seemed so... explosive, so strong. They gave the story a special strength, they made it powerful. The regrets, the unspoken thoughts, the uncontrollable feelings, the fears, everything was so well done. Several times I found myself "feeling" a lot too, either wanting to strangle a character or feeling a bit sad myself.
I also liked this version of Athena, Saori better said, and her relationship with Milo. At first she annoyed me of course, even more when Milo explained why they had fought but once we heard her side it made me understand her, understand her mistakes. It was nice to read a Saori flawed, very human. I was especially delighted with the line: "Tu entre todos, deberías hacerlo".
Pardon me from gushing so much but I really enjoyed reading Escorpio. Once I started I couldn't stop until I finished it. I was seriously terrified of it having a sad ending but I'm glad it didn't. Not only did I enjoy reading it so much but I also ended with a happy smile. That was appreciated, believe me.

Date: 2005-08-05 10:58 am (UTC)Yes, people have told me I'm good at dealing with feelings, which I think is good. I wish I could do the same with settings and stuff. I try to make my characters look real. Not the stereotypes everybody is used to. Can't do that, oh well, I try, at least.
Thank you so very much. And yes, I'm very proud.
