Scared. That's all I can say about how I felt today when I had to sub a teacher tonight during the first minutes of her class. It went all fine, and I can't say how incredible and powerful it felt to be back in a room in front of a group of people.

*sigh*

[livejournal.com profile] muinteor thanks for everything, I wouldn't be able to do anything w/o you helping me out.

[livejournal.com profile] lady_hook You'll have a wonderful day tomorrow, you'll see. And hopefully those pictures of yours will show me I'm right.

Couldn't help it...(Like I've been able to help myself lately...or ever!)

It's always a pleasure to be of some assistance.

I love your trivia!

I knew you were a mammal, but I had no idea that you built the Taj Mahal... well, they arrested widowed Shah Jahan after the mausoleum's completion because he declared that the building, dedicated to his late wife, queen Mumtaz, was merely the first of two Mausoleums. The second, he said, would be built of Obsidion, I believe (a black stone, anyway), but his heir wasn't willing to see the state's economy depleted by his father's grandiose dreams, so he deposed him, with the blessing of the people, I imagine.

I suppose 20,000 workers and 20 years dedicated to the construction of another mausoleum, was not affordable.

I would like to have seen old Jahan see his dream come true, but he ended his days in a cell facing the Taj Mahal, but with the window too high for him to look out of. Poor Jahan.

You know the British almost demolished the Taj Mahal to transport the marble to England? I'm glad there was at least one thinking preson in a position of authority among them.

Parthenon sculptures in the Acropolis in Athens, please, not in the British Museum in London.

Can't you tell I'm fiercely anti-colonial?

I'd just like to add one more thing... Ariadnascrpicide is a crime and will be severely punished.

Hehehe.
